4 of 4 found this helpful I am using this as a sterilizer and have used many different pressure cookers over the years and they have all had their quirks. Not the All-American 941. This thing is wunderbar! The gauge allows you to keep the pressure and heat exactly without blowing all your steam out the jiggler. The mass of this PC means that changes temperature slowly and is easy to catch before there is a big change. The second time I use this, I measured water before and after and found that in one and a half hours of use it only lost one cup of water. If you can afford an All-American you will never use another pressure cooker again. The downside to the 941 is weight(33lbs empty)means you have to load and unload it on the heat source unless you have no problem lifting heavy weights up to stove height. The other downside is most stoves probably won't drive this. I use a turkey fryer.
