Andrea Dworkin wrote her biography in short chapters of her personal struggles as a human being, a woman, and as a Feminist. I didn't know her story, writings, or positions on issues before I read the book. She doesn't mince words; she takes a strong stand. She put herself on the line and at risk again and again to stick to a principle. I came away inspired to action and a lot less timid. I bought this copy to keep in circulation among my women friends.

a time, cookware AND space saver;
I am going to sound like a cookware geek: There are several different designs for manufactured pot lid racks. They each support different types of lids. This one will work for any kind of handles. I use this one not inside a cabinet but hanging outside my open cookware shelves. I find it especially handy for my Corning Ware round lids. The way that this particular holder hangs, your lids will be facing slightly upside down. (therefore you may want to consider that they will gather a little bit of dust?) Therefore, it is NOT so good for lids that are deep, (they will stick out a lot) although they will stay securely put. My home is spatially challenged, and this rack keeps my kitchen chaos at bay. No more wasted time or mess digging through a cabinet or a drawer for the right lid, and my glass lids are not at big risk for getting cracked or broken. YAY! but I recommend that if you have a lot of cookware and lids, that you have a few different varieties of holders in your kitchen. you WILL find a use for them.

except for being highly perfumed, i LOVE THIS!
(i had to wash it 4 times to get the scent out) (detergent? fabric softener? it is pretty extreme. and i will run it thru the wash a 5th time because i can still smell it.) otherwise it is beautiful, strong, bright, comfortable. ! cheerful!!!
