Soviet Strike (Sony PlayStation 1, 1996) complete

Classic PS One title

One of my favorites from the pre-COD era. An 3rd person/top down arcade-style shooter where you take control of a modified AH 64 Apache attack helo. The enemy A.I. can be rather formidable on the decently sized and dynamic battlefield. Managing your ammo and fuel while often re-prioritizing your objectives is common and rather fun. Definitely a retro gamers game. The FMV is well done and adds to the 'volition' to accomplish the missions.

Time warp to NYC, 2011

I've used Drakkar in the past, so when I found this at Duane Reeds when I was there in July of 2011, I bought this same spray. I still have the empty! Love it. Of course it was only about $12 for the can at Duane Reeds, but hey, I made an exception in this case. I was a 2nd year EMT from California spending a week, by myself, in NY paying my respects to the city. With my running gear, and a few choice change of dress clothes, and a couple of sprays of this stuff, I ran, walked the streets and sidewalks, and rode almost every major subway from Brooklyn to Queens, meeting some of the fine people of NYC. Until I return to see the completed One World Trade Center, jog those streets, and ride the subways again, I'll spray a bit of this on, and think of that city.

Good stuff

Got the OEM controller quickly, it was about as good as new, and it's getting a lot of use in the retro gaming sessions that are abound our quarantined mancave. Playing everything from NES, SNES, and Gameboy Advance games on old Wii. Good stuff. Will be back, I'm sure, for some other retro-gear. Thanks!
