Better than the original?
The original eye-cup that came with my Nikon D90 would often slide off with the slightest nudge ever since it was new. Presumably, that's how it got lost. This one snaps on much more securely and takes significantly more force to remove. Much better now.

When I discovered that the Toas-Tite maker was back in production, I had to buy one and I'm glad I did, because they're as good as I remember. The Toas-Tite maker, itself, is very well made, just like the original.
