Popcorn that doesn't POP!
The popcorn would be a great value as far as how much you get per dollar spent. However, I think the popcorn I received was either old stock or maybe stored incorrectly. Hardly any of the kernel pop, I've tried it in a hot air machine, the microwave and in hot oil on the stove top. No matter what I try about half the kernels pop. Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Written for the average sailor!
Although I bought this book to ad to my cabin library I ended up reading it before I set out sailing. I thought the first part dragged a little bit when reviewing the pros and cons of the different kind of boats. After that though it went along quite quickly and was a much more interesting read. All in all I think this would be a good book for the more novice sailor although one can always learn something new if you put your mind to it. I think the best part about the book is it's written for the average cruiser not the multimillionaire banker who commissions his ship built prior to sailing around the world with his crew of 8 professional employee sailors. So I would recommend this book for most average sailor of which I'm proud to be one!
