Good mount, but not good with BUIS on rifles
Gave this four out of Five as this riser is best paired with a Vector/Viridian red dot, despite having the Vortex/Docter footprint (they call TEK footprint). I put this on a PCC rifle and added Magpul BUIS - the most common back up iron sights in the modern rifle world--and they could not see over the Vortex Venom I used. The closest that could see over was the A.R.M.S BUIS using only the notch, not the peep sight on the rear. The Vector/Viridian red dots have an extremely low floor height (8/32") so the 2/32-3/32 difference is enough to use or not use BUIS with it.
It otherwise feels as solid as a mount that you would get with a regular 20mm enclosed red dot (ie Romeo, HS403, etc). It held up to quick fire on a 16' 9mm PCC.

Great for older Gen3 with FBI cutout
3 of 3 found this helpful I managed to pick up a G17.3 and G22.3 used from the son of a LA county sheriff. Both models were either very early Gen 3s or made specifically for law enforcement as they had the “half moon” cutout for stripping mags. The look honestly bugged me so I spent $35 at Glockstore for a Rogers magwell which fit fine on my G17. I had avoided the use of the G22 for some time so decided to get a second magwell. Did some quick perusing of Ebay and lo and behold a cheaper option. First two photos are the G22, next photo is the derpy look without it and the last photo is the grey G17 with more expensive magwell and the G22 with this magwell. The G22 doesn’t get used nearly as much as the G17 but at least now it looks better.
