Strong and light, but does not retrofit to older mcnaught portable guns.
I expected the original grease container to fit inside and act as a protector, BUT you have to fill it up from your own container, which is a waste of time, energy, and a point of contamination.

I like it, looks good and has good,useful functions.
When I first got it, I found the chrome pointer bezel on the temp control knob was around the wrong way, so you were never sure of the temp setting. After refitting it correctly I used the dremel tool to make an indent on both knobs to act as a pointer, and after painting a black dot in the indent, to show the action of each knob, Sounds pathetic, but now very easy to see which direction to go for any function. Also the spring on the door is not good enough to keep it shut when moving from storage to bench top every time, (wrapping the cord around handle and under itself does the trick).
Great little pie warmer, hot cross bun heater, pizza re-heater etc, etc.
Hope it lasts, as everyone NOW tells me it won't. Only bought a Russel Hobbs unit as my old R/H kettle lasted 25 years before it started leaking thru' the plastic casing, so we'll see?????.

Easy kit to assemble but not usefull.
Bad temperature control.
