7 old years and still rocks.
A month ago I came home with my brand new computer, 3GB ram, Nvidia 512mb video card, and 500 Gigs of memory. I also purchased Supreme Commander and Neverwinter nights 2. Out of all the new sophisticated games on the planet I decided to play Diablo 2 LOD, again. After logging back in with my new account(my old one was deleted since I stopped playing for a year), to my surprise there are still 50-100k people playing it online. I quickly get rushed through softcore(Die unlimited times) and hop right back into hardcore(you only live ONCE). After 7 years this game is still fun. Finding items, building your character, crafting equipment is still far superior than most modern action RPGs. The $20 I spent on this battlechest was worth every penny. The Good- Solid gameplay, good music, UNLIMITED replay value, great multiplayer, good cinematics. The Bad- Graphics outdated but still decent, Battle.net still locks you off if you log in and out too fast. The Ugly- Player Killers in Hardcore use hacks and bots, you dont even stand a chance against them; even with the best gear. Alot of hackers in this game in general. Should you buy it? Yes, and get one for a friend too. D2 LOD is much more enjoyable when you have company, helps with item transfers, questing, and most importantly just surviving. If you played D2 before you know how addicting it is, and its cheaper than ever now so hop on eBay and get it!

Record of Lodoss war DC A rare gem among bad games
If you are looking for a Gem for DC, look no further. I bought this game in 2001 and just re-bought a DC just to play it again. This is one of the MOST DIFFICULT games, but surprisingly fun. Its your standard hack n slash with a very deep upgrade system. There are points where 40-60 enemies are attacking you at once!It put a smile on my face when my character did damage in the millions, but sadly some bosses have hundeds of millions. The game CAN be beat in about 30 hours, but with the side quests about 40 hours and 20 more hours collecting mythril to upgrade weapons to do damage near the billions! Pros: Lenghthy, deep, fun Cons: VERY HARD,bad graphics, slowdown, horrible CG, you can die at level 99 with 1 hit LOL

and more than 15 years later, Legends are not forgotten
Back in summer 2006 I decided to make a wise decision on getting another daily driver. My 3000GT Vr4 was a gold mine in itself, just maintnence on the car was taking up much of my paycheck. I was a senior in highschool and I was dumping too much money in such costly things. For much of the summer I saved up all the money I could. With a couple of grand in my pocket I started treading through pages and pages of Autotrader. After a week or so I saw an ad for a 1993 black Acura Legend coupe. Not knowing much about the specs of the car other than it had a blistering 244k miles and the transmission labeled as "manual" on the ad. I had my doubts, for all I knew just about every Legend I had seen was an automatic and four door. After meeting senior owner I took it for a test drive around the block. Even at 20 miles per hour, I could not help but be astonished. It was smoother than a hot knife through butter, if I didn't know better I would have mistaken the drive for a brand new car. Long story short, a week later I came back and took the drove the car home and it has been in my possession since then. Performance- 3.2L Type II 230HP mated with a 6 Speed manual transmission- Great performance and eerily silent. At lower rpms the engine sounds muted but drives very smoothly. The power however doesn't come until after 4000RPM, thats when the engine roars and pulls hard until 6750RPM redline. The 6 speed manual is butter smooth compared to its 5 speed counterpart due to the fact that it has a very heavy dual mass flywheel that absorbs much of the vibration with the clutch is engaged. In my opinion the 6 speed is much better than the stiff 5 speed, each gear goes in flawlessly and geared for optimal driving speeds. Reliability- As of 7/09 the Legend has about 280k miles on it. Stock engine, stock transmission. Almost leak free and passes inspection with blazing colors every year. Even after the wear and tear over the past 16 years the Legend still gets 22MPG combined! Confort- After driving 280k miles one would expect the seats to be torn, faded, and worn. Surprisely they have held up very well. With only cm sized tears I am very shocked on their condition. I liked the way Honda used vinyl headliner instead of the standard cloth, it adds a very nice touch of luxury to a car. The Legend coupes even came with the automatic closing doors, oh how I've long to close car doors with a touch of my finger. It surprising that the only other car I know of that has this option is a newer BMW 745LI sports package. Kudos Honda for building such a well design, subtle, luxury car. Quality- Excellent, thats all I can say. If you even attempt to take care of this car, it WILL take care of you. The body is top notched, its easy to see where the 1999 Nissan Skyline got many of its styling designs from. I once considered selling this car and getting a BMW 740IL, and am glad I did not. The 7 series, even with all its fancy gadgets, options, and big price tag falls short of the pure quality of a Honda built luxury car. If you are remotely interested in a cheap, efficient luxury car, that is reliable; look no further. Go get your brand new preowned Acura Legend coupe today. Maybe if Honda of America kept the name Legend instead of switching it to the RL the RL would be more highly acclaimed.
