Replace leaking 1/4 inch AC refrigeration access port flare caps
The HVAC system 1/4 inch refrigerant access ports plastic flair caps were leaking. The seals dried out and needed to be replaced. The C&D CD2245 are brass flair caps with 0-ring seals. Oiled the O-rings with refrigerant mineral oil and replaced the plastic flair caps. The plastic fair caps were seating on the cap instead of the rubber seals. The new caps seated on the rubber seals and you could feel the rubber compression. No leaks were detected with leak detector after installation. Only time will tell how the rubber seals will hold up.

Reliance WKPBN30 Portable Generator Through-the-Wall Connection
2 of 2 found this helpful After sitting for three days and nights without power during the Texas freeze and a week of no power though one of the hurricanes, I decided to add a portable electric generator to the house. The power panel needs to be updated before a portable generator can be connected. The Reliance WKPBN30 kit was the quickest way to connect the generator from the outside of the house to the inside without opening a window. I could have put a kit together but after pricing the parts, the cost of the WKPBN30 kit was lower. The WKPBN30 kit was installed on the back wall of the house next to the utility connections.
Installation was straight forward. Following the instructions, I picked a spot next to a stud that did not have any wiring - power sockets, telephone, or cable connections.
The starting hole was drilled form the inside at the same level as the 120V power socket. You must take your time otherwise the spade drill bit can damage the sheet rock. The backwall on this house is T1-11 wood panel and the spade bit created a shallow hole with the drill point. To create a pilot hole though the outside wall, a sheet rock screw was driven though and then removed. The hole through the outside wall was drilled from the outside to prevent splintering.
The kit is reasonably well made. With the exception of the electrical connections, all of the part are plastic - PVC. The outside box appears to be well made and weather resistant.
The attached pictures show the install. Not that important, but the color of the outside box matches the wall.

The Innova 5160RS, although used, was in very good condition. The device was clean and with very little indication of wear.
The 5160RS was tested on a 2009 Toyota Camry, and performed as described by Innova and in YouTube. The RS features were not used. The package arrived within the prescribed eBay shipping window.
