Electro-Harmonix SILENCER Noise Gate Pedal

4.5 stars great value even as a effect loop.
Disclaimer: I really don’t use it as a noise gate. But it should work just as well as a boss ns-2 for noise. If not slightly better. And I’m a huge Boss believer. I use it more as a simple gate. The only thing better I’ve tried is the Zvex loop gate but I’m not a huge fan of their layout. I like a gate where you can fine tune it to your pick attack. This gem delivers. I’ve tried MXR, DOD, Boss NF-1 and NS-2. For noise gates or straight up gate it’s a winner!
