Quick-Glo Original Heavy-Use Chrome Cleaner Rust Remover for Bikes Cars Boat 8oz
Jul 23, 2016
Good stuff...
I bought this to polish the chrome on my thirty five year-old motorcycle and its accessories. In the process I learned that rust often sits on the surface of the chrome and can be polished off with the right product, leaving beautiful, unblemished chrome underneath. Quick-Glo is that product. It doesn't do all the work for you - you still have to use a little elbow grease - but with patience, your chrome will shine like new (one note though; if the chrome has started to pit, the surface of the chrome has been damaged and no polish will fix that). I used two microfiber towels for this job; one to put the polish on, and another, clean one, to take it off.
Try it..... you'll like it!
This particular model does NOT hold the pressure, which makes me wonder why it has a pressure release button on it. I wish I had noticed that the listing had pointed that out, but I didn't so it's my fault for not reading carefully enough. Other than that, it feels like it's going to give me years of reliable readings.
It's kind of hard to write a review on a used item, but I got lucky on this one. Given that it's 35 years old, it was in nearly flawless condition. If you buy one, just make sure it's the correct Honda part number, which is 84100-461-000. The grab bars for the CB650 and CB750 look like they might fit, but they don't. Hope this helps!
