Wonderful kabusecha! Fresh, rich, and subtly complex.
I ordered this for the first time and I am so impressed! Absolutely wonderful with excellent blend of rich umami and very light overtones of briskness. Beautiful green color. As with many japanese green teas, different subtle flavors come out in the second steeping. I liked the second steeping even more than the first, with more richness and body. I used 170º F water, one tsp of tea per cup, and 90 seconds brew time.

Fantastic metronome!
I am surprised how much I love my Wittner metronome! I have been using a little battery operated metronome. Whereas the electric one does work, the mechanical Wittner metronome is much easier to follow. The click is really audible and the motion of the pendulum/baton seems to provide a better visual cue than a flashing light. Mine has the feature where it rings a bell on the downbeat, which I really like. The Wittner of course is much more attractive and classic. I absolutely love this mtronome.

Excellent! Compares very well to matcha costing four times as much.
I was skeptical when I ordered this matcha, having paid the in past about four times the price from another major vendor. This matcha compares with the more expensive one in every way. The color is a beautiful, bright green. It mixes smoothly and easily. It whisks up nicely, holding a nice, rich foam. I used about 3/4 teaspoon with a cup of 170º water. Very pleasant taste and nice mouth with virtually no astringency. And, after having read some discussions of possible residual chemical levels in matcha (mostly mass-produced Chinese matcha), I feel better about organically grown. I immediately ordered two more packets. Thank you Ocha for making available a more affordable yet excellent product!
