A very economical, slick, and fragrant shaving soap.
1 of 1 found this helpful I find this soap to be excellent. It is very slick, thus helping the blade to glide over the face. Letting the soap puck soak in water for a few minutes helps it to "bloom" and soften up making the lather easier to make. I cannot place the smell of the soap. It smells very flowery and powdery to me and I enjoy the fragrance very much. It does not provide as much "cushion" as a cream or canned foam, but the slickness helps to compensate. Also, a sharp blade and proper blade angle helps to minimize irritation. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys using a "hard" type shaving soap with a good shaving brush. You can achieve a "Baby Bottom Smooth" shave every time.

Equal To But Cheaper Than The Original.
The sound quality is equal to the original stylus and is several dollars cheaper. The tracking weight is also possibly slightly less than the original, meaning lighter tracking weight and less stress on the record grooves. I bought one plus two more as backups for immediate replacement when necessary.

Stays sharp over multiple shaves relatively speaking...
2 of 2 found this helpful Blades are very sharp for shaving out of the box. I have used a Treet Super Single Edge blade for 6 shaves going on my seventh. For old single edge blades this is very very good. The trick is to "Palm Strop" the blade before and after each time you shave. Videos of palm stropping are on Youtube.
Use great care when doing so as you are pressing the blade on the palm edge of your hand and doing a "pulling away" motion that helps to realign the edge of the blade. These blades are carbon steel, not stainless steel, meaning that you must dry the blade thoroughly after each use or it will begin to rust.
After the first use the blade will start to discolor which is normal. This is due to the water reacting to the carbon steel, not truly rust until it turns brown so you're fine. I like carbon steel blades over stainless because the edge is slightly sharper and with proper maintenance can deliver excellent shaves. As always, you mileage may vary (YMMV) with razor blades so do not attempt to shave more times with ANY blade than you are comfortable with doing.
