310 Levels of Monkey Ball Awesomeness! PS2 quality poor...Try Xbox version.
If you liked Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 for GameCube, then you'll love this game. It has all the levels of 1(114) & 2(149), plus 47 original levels, totaling 310 levels! It's basically the same game, but with more levels. The downside I felt however, was that the PS2 version was not up to the same standards as the GameCube versions. The graphics are a little choppy, not as crisp, and the sound quality is somewhat poor (i.e. the noise made when crossing the goal). The game does not transition smoothly either. Each time you finish a level, the screen turns black, and the music pauses unlike the GameCube versions which would play more smoothly (music would transition through break points, etc.). There's also a delay when you hit the retry button in Story Mode. I think that these quality issues mainly apply to the PS2 version (Older Gen, less powerful), not the Xbox (Just as good as GameCube), though I haven't tried it. Putting that aside I think it's a great game that's true to the series. It makes for a great expansion in terms of level content. A must-have for Monkey Ball fans!

Not bad - they look good and they're pretty sturdy
These stools are definitely not the best quality, but they're not bad at all for the price. The color is really nice, and they look good once they're assembled. Assembly is simple, but a little tricky. The slots in the hex screws are just a little bit big, so if you over-torque with the allen wrench that comes with it, the heads will strip. You have to assemble them carefully and they'll work well. The stain is nice, it's a dark espresso color. The wood has some defects, but all-in-all they look good and they're pretty sturdy once they're assembled.

One of the best handhelds
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a huge fan of the Gameboy line. What I like about the Gameboy Pocket is not only its size, but how big the screen is. It actually has a slightly larger screen than the original gameboy. I'd say it's biggest shortcoming is its battery life. It takes 2xAAA batteries and it only lasts about 10 hours. For that I highly recommend using rechargeable batteries. Also, much like the original gameboy, the screen is not backlit but it gets much better lighting than the original. If you're up to it, a backlight can be installed on this little handheld.
Also, for those of you who don't know, the Gameboy Pocket can't play Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance games.
All in all it's a great system!
