Lasko T38400 Electric Oscillating Hybrid Tower Fan with Timer and Remote Control

Hybrid Blower/Tower fan

I have the Honeywell Quiet Set tower fan for comparison... Basically, it moves as much air on low as the Honeywell does on high. The noise level is about the same, too. Then, you still have 3 more speeds to go through. It moves a lot more air than a traditional tower fan on the higher settings, and the noise level goes up to match. I purchased this because our other fan doesn't move enough air around our large room when the temp goes up... This one will. The things I think they can improve on are... The distance that the remote works from (iffy from across the room). The fan doesn't spread the air out as wide as the Honeywell (it's more of a focused flow). It doesn't oscillate as far around as the Honeywell (covers about 3/4 of the distance). The reason I'm satisfied with the purchase are... The amount of air it moves. The design seems sturdy, and it's attractively modern.

DIYers Best Friend

I'm an avid DIYer, and these fit my needs great. Light enough for small quick fixes, but powerful enough to handle the larger projects too. The 1.3 batteries are on the smaller side, but I can purchase bigger ones of I find myself needing hours of straight use out of these. I like the weight and maneuverability of the lighter battery pack. Haven't ran one dead yet.

Great for what I need

DIYer here. I just needed something to hold all my different fasteners. This works great. Seems to be good quality. The front closures may not hold up to a pro job site, but I'm pretty easy on my stuff. Should last me a long time.
