Not a stand out range finder

I purchased it to know the distance of deer when rifle hunting. It is fairly accurate, however the viewing lense is very small and not easy to quickly focus on anything. Also the read out is in black and does not illuminate so it is difficult to quickly see in low light conditions. If I ever purchase another range finder I will look for a larger than 21mm viewing lense and an illuminated read out.
