Quality kettle, economical on energy.
Good quality and stylish kettle which uses little energy because you can boil just enough for one cup if you want to, or up to 4 cups. Perfect for one or two people. I have just replaced one after 5 years of daily use, so lasts well.

Toothbrush works like new
Fitting this battery has restored full power to my Braun toothbrush and it is very satisfying to have repaired it at modest cost and helped save the planet's resources in the process.
You do need to be good at soldering however (I am an electronics engineer) but the online guidance available is very good and anyone good with their hands and with some patience should be able to complete the job in around 30 minutes. I found that soaking the outer casing of the toothbrush and the top ring and bottom stopper in kettle descaler and then brushing them removes any toothpaste stains but if you do this, rinse and dry the parts well before re-assembly - leave somewhere warm overnight - otherwise the damp will be sealed inside and cause problems.
You will need a small tipped soldering iron, a solder sucker or some solder wick, and of course some flux-cored solder. My tips - remove the negative battery connection first (charging coil end) and bend it up a bit to avoid possible short-circuits damaging the PCB and be careful to remove all the solder before pulling off the four enamelled wires. Make sure you trim the battery connection strips to the correct length, again to avoid possible short circuits.
