Glorious tone without the hum
Not a big fan of active pickups but Greg's multiple youtube videos convinced me to take the risk. My ears are very satisfied with the actual results. These give me the choice between underwound and overwound tones, but I find myself mostly in the overwound (boosted) position. Installation had two minor hurdles, 1) neck pickup wire barely reached the circuit board--had to disassemble the control panel to create room to solder it. 2) control module is a very tight fit, so I shaved down some of the plastic casing and circuit board with an exacto knife to get it to slide in easily--no re-routing necessary (Musikraft Tele body) No Regrets.

A Little Big
Bigger than I expected. Though they sent me the acoustic case by mistake. Extremely well padded but i would gladly sacrifice the extra chamber of pockets for a sleeker profile.
