Received an older edition than the one pictured
The material in the older edition that I received was mostly out of date. But the slightly newer edition might be more relevant.

Bose 151 SE Outdoor Speakers--Yes, we have no banana plugs
The speakers are small, but efficient, and have a fairly natural sound. I wish that the sound would blend into the background a bit more, but that's asking a lot. I also think the mounting bracket could be better designed, but it works well enough. Finally, the connector posts look like they are at the standard width for banana plug pairs, but they are not. They are about two millimeters wider than the standard. As a consequence you can't use the standard banana plug connector pairs. This probably isn't that much of a fault because in most applications,, the connector would stick out too far and hit the mounting bracket anyway.
