    Ballast tubes arrived in like-new condition as described. Cartons appear to never have been opened. I needed one to replace a burned-out K42B in a 1937 Howard 259 radio. Anything that will substitute for one is hard to find; I spent 4 months looking either a K42B, KL-45, 23-55-1, 23-55-A, or a URB-004 ballast tube. Many thanks! (pic shows one of the sellers' URB-004 alongside my bad K42B)

These are amazing bars! I got them for a very nominal price over spot. I don't mind the web-site on the back of the bar at all. Brand recognition is very important so I'm totally cool with that. These could very well become 'collectibles' beyond their bullion value. Englehard bars come to mind. My advice? BUY AS MANY OF THESE AS YOU CAN WHILE THE PRICE IS THIS LOW!

Simply Amazing! Every guitar player that gigs or plays with others often should have one.
Amazing! This thing is can get LOUD! Great gain with genuine pre-amp tube circuitry. I really like the simplicity of this amp. One thing I wish is had is a standby switch. However this amp is an adjunct to my other amps so it's not a huge deal. Being a single tube pre-amp stage amp allows for endless experimentation with various tubes. Vintage tubes, new tubes, slightly lower rated tubes i.e. 12 AU7. This ability to easily swap tubes makes this amp even more versatile & enjoyable. Every guitar player that gigs or plays with others often should have one. These are great as backups. However they van be used as is on small gigs or if mic'd through a PA.

Ben Franklin will never steer you wrong!
Ben Franklin Half Dollars are my first choice in investment silver coins. These coins are historic in that they honor one of the most important US founding fathers Ben Franklin. Additionally these coins also feature The Liberty Bell which is an iconic symbol of America. Another feature I like about Ben Franklin 50 cent coins is that they are more resistant to extreme wear. Walking Liberty & Barber half dollars seem to wear out quicker due in part to their higher relief. These coins also have a nice variety of cameos, toning & other interesting quirks. Ben Franklin will never steer you wrong!
