The remake is great, but there's just something about the original....
I love this game so much. I played it when I was a kid, and even if it's so much easier going back to it as an adult, that doesn't mean it's -easy.- I think the biggest hurdle in this game is the fact that you can't save whenever you want. You can only save at certain points, like after boss fights and by clearing one kind of bonus round. For that reason alone, it's a little hard to recommend the original over the N Sane Trilogy remake, which has more quality-of-life improvements and is more accessible on multiple consoles. But I can't deny there's something super charming about the original, both in its physics and in its polygon-y PS1 graphics.

Awesome movie with some little bonuses!
Love this movie. Next to Lost Ship In The Sky, it's my favorite Detective Conan movie. This particular release seems to be a later budget release, for special features is has trailers for every movie up to 15, which is pretty cool! There's no options for subtitles, or really options at all, so be warned about that. Then again I'm not sure the normal DVD release has options for subtitles either. I just wanted to own this physically and the quality is pretty solid!

Get it while you can, it's getting rarer!
I haven't rewatched it in awhile but this seems to be regarded as one of the best Case Closed movies. That said, they're out of print, and I don't think there's any legitimate avenues to watch the old Funimation dub online! Which is part of why these old DVDs are so expensive, particularly 3-6. If you can snag this for a reasonable price, go for it. Case Closed/Detective Conan is a great show and I'll even stand by the old dub being pretty solid, if you can deal with Americanized name changes and some localization flubs. (And even if you can't, these DVDs have options for Japanese with English subtitles.)
