I prefer the sound of Ludwigs better then the 4 or 5 other sets that I have had. Deeper and crisper sound. AND I love the color - silver sparkle.
when i was much younger i played drums in a garage get together band with friends. two of us sang we tried to play songs of that time (mid 60's). Eventually I sold them. went into the service and while in Memphis I bought another set and sent them home to WI. they sat there till i had a military leave. My dad played them more than I did. but they took up room and i sold them also. decades later i bought a full set of 28 pieces. 6 months later the guy bought them back. I bought another set but did not like the sound and sold them to someone who wanted them worse then i did. Finally I found these Ludwigs which I always liked the sound of them. a deeper but crisp sound to me. Now I have to get them unpackaged, setup, tuned up and get back into it. And I will by playing oldies records of the Beatles, Beach Boys, Four Seasons, etc. etc. loud and get back into the swing of things. Long story I guess. Take care.
