Has Some Draw Backs - But Is Still Well Worth It.
9 of 9 found this helpful Overall good performance. The controller is only 13 amps continuous and 26 peak so I would recommend going with a 52 volt battery and not a 48. I can climb good sized hills and make 30MPH no problem.
P codes in LCD need to be programmed, especially P 05 Which is the battery setting for the graph in the controller. I found that the indicator was way off from my batteries actual state of charge. I have found the value 18 works pretty well. I may do a you tube video in the future as these LCD's are new and not much is publicized about them.
The bag is too small for the controller - no big deal.
I didn't use the grips as they are made of hard plastic. I wish they had a thumb throttle option.
It's a no brand - no name stuff - which is a little dicey later on if I want to make repairs, replacements or modifications. Just keep that in mind. But for the value - I am willing to overlook this as name brand kits are grossly over-expensive.
Overall it's a good kit and I would recommend it.
