Highest recommendation. Comfort and insight for Christians who lose believing loved ones.
This book is a true gem. We keep extras around to give it to brothers and sisters who are wrestling as Christians, with the death of a believing loved one. My wife and I are no strangers to this kind of loss. A few years back the Lord called home our son who was 30 years old. Needless to say that kind of loss can be devastating. In my observation, mothers are particularly hard hit. We read this book together and the biblical concepts contained in it proved incredibly helpful to us.
It is a very practical book. Pastor Martin, who was writing after having lost his wife to cancer, wrote with great pathos but also with real biblical insight. He teaches believers to focus NOT on what you have lost but on what they have gained..(hint) the immediate presence of their Savior, the company of just men made perfect, the delivery from their desire to sin, etc. And he tells them to focus on what Christ has gained (precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints.) And Jesus receives to himself the souls for whom he died. This was a new way of thinking about death for me. Anyway, I have just scratched the surface. Do your self a good turn and get this book. And give it to others who need it. I think this is a valuable book for believers!

Gourmet Licorice
We love this licorice. We are so glad we found it, it is the same brand that we bought at Cabela’s, we think. At any rate, it tastes the same and it is absolutely gourmet licorice which we love. Different from any other licorice we have ever found. We will buy again we are so glad we found it in the sink. Very thick, dense and extremely tasty.
