KAKA SJ-320 Slip Roll Machine, 12 -Inch Forming Width, 20 Gauge Capacity
    Jul 10, 2019
Works well. Good value for small projects. Great adjustability.
Good quality machine. I am using it to make expansion chambers for a two-stroke motorcycle. It does cone the material, but only 20 degrees or so by my estimation. The release mechanism works well to get metal off the roller without spreading-out the rolled form. My only ask is that the adjustment knobs for the alignment of the rollers and the pressure roller have graduations so the exact same diameter roll can be achieved repeatedly. I made my own with little strips of brightly colored tape on the knobs. I am using 20ga stainless. works fine but the rolls need to be done in increments, as this is about the max stiffness of material the machine can handle. I am pleased with the results, so far. To achieve a tight roll (e.g. the pictured cone) I had to use a dead blow hammer with a cylindrical anvil, and work the material into the tight shape, after rolling.
