Great Buy
As described, very well packaged, easy to install. I looked at similar models and this was the best value. I was surprised by the quality of the construction, heavier duty than I was expecting. Great buy.

Almost perfect
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a beautiful kit with well crafted billet aluminum brackets and pulleys. The quality of the components is not the problem, the issues lie with getting everything installed. First, you absolutely must have the Saginaw steering pump with the small keyed shaft. I bought this thinking my stock Saginaw pump would work but the OEM shaft is too large and does not have a key. Second, make sure you have the right alternator. Anything besides the Chrysler square or roundbacks will not work (later model alternators don't work). Third, the main pulley off the harmonic balancer did not line up with the rest of the system. I had to purchase a pulley spacer to take up the nearly 3/16" difference in alignment. Last, and honestly my biggest beef is that the belts are not included nor was I able to find any guidance for purchasing them on the CVF racing store. When I purchased the kit I requested the belt numbers so I could source them myself, they sent me a note with numbers for the 2 required Gates 8 rib belts. I had do do a bit of research to locate them online and one of them was very expensive and hard to find. When I put everything together I found that the PS belt was WAAY too tight and nearly impossible to get on and the Alternator belt was too long and no amount of adjustment could take up the slack. So they recommended the wrong belts and the super expensive one I was not able to return to the place where I got it. Measured the pulleys myself and was able to locate the correct lengths I needed. Do yourself a favor and measure everything before you purchase belts. If you do not have the correct Saginaw pump and alternator be ready to dish out close to 1K for this kit and the needed accessories. Still, worth the cost and even worth the aggravation. When I pop my hood this kit gets all the attention.
