Excellent and versatile youth inflatable bed
2 of 2 found this helpful A clever inflatable bed for youth. It's in two pieces; the outer edge has the bumper, so is shaped like a small swimming pool (holes at bottom so no danger of holding water), and the separate inflatable mattress fits inside. Because the mattress is a separate piece it's easy to tuck a sheet securely around it before setting it in place.
In a pinch, you could use this inflatable bed for two children, by using foam or blankets instead of the mattress inside the bumper and using the inflatable mattress separately for a sleeping pad without a bumper.
It's low enough that you can tuck the whole thing under a bed or couch during the day when it's not in use.
The pump that comes with it works very well and even has two other fittings that you could use for other inflatable items that have different air valve sizes. The valves on the two inflatable pieces have stops in them so that when you remove the pump the air doesn't whoosh out before you close the cap.
