Excellent strainer
I use this to make greek yogurt from my homemade soy yogurt. I leave it in for at least a day and it will drain off all the liquid and leave it creamy. It's a little delicate so I recommend using a silicone spatula when scraping.

Some minor issues but still worth the money
24 of 24 found this helpful Really more 41/2 stars...I purchased the largest unit and I have it in my basement...so far seems to work very well at collecting excess moisture in the air (I also have a Frigidaire unit in another part of my basement that's several years old so I have a comparison to make this review). I find the container of the Vremi smaller than the Frigidaire unit (I don't use the drain but rather save the water to wash clothes and water plants). I also find the container is made of a much thinner plastic and feels flimsy (compared to the Frigidaire). It also only pulls out from the sides and doesn't have an indent in the front, which makes it likely that some water will spill out into the unit when you pull the container out. I also wish it had more space between the floor and the rollers (my surface isn't flat and there isn't really room to put wood shims that allows enough space to pull the container in and out of the unit). And replacing the container is also tricky -- you gotta push on both sides gently just-so (especially compared to the Frigidaire unit). So overall the unit works well for what it's supposed to do...you just got to be gentle with the container and know that you may be changing it more than other units cause the container is on the smallish side.
