This model allowed my 1964 Comet gas cap door to close.
Gas cap Product looks just like the picture. I replaced another gas cap that was bigger and would not allow the gas cap door to close over it. Fit well and door now closes over it.
I just wish I had a picture of a 1964 Comet with the gas cap on it so I could gage if this truly matches original. The one I replaced (which I found for sale) also said it was original. I don't trust what the vendors say.
