It' soy wax...
It is exactly what it's supposed to be - soy wax. Works great in container candles.

Morphs
The portion exposed to air stays violet in soap but the color in cold process soap morphs to an interesting shade of brown. This colorant does need to be mixed with oil to allow full incorporation into the soap. Otherwise you will get spots of concentrated dye.
