Versatile and great sounding!
I've been using new beats for around 15 years and they are my go to hi hats. The first thing I look at when buying cymbals is how versatile they are because I play just about any style from jazz to heavy metal and everything in between. These hi hats have always sounded great and work well for me. They have a nice crisp sound that can be played lightly or heavy without sounding tinny or muddy. They are seriously the best hats for the price and some of the best sounding hats out there. If you are someone that plays multiple genres give these hats a go you won't be disappointed.

Great stand!
I own many brands of cymbal stands, my go to stands are Tama Road pro. I purchased this DW 5000 stand to see how comparable they are to other stands I own. It's a solid stand and built very well. I like that it comes with memory locks it's a heavy duty stand and it looks great. What I don't like is the legs don't go very wide and the cost. These stands are expensive for $119.99 when you can go out and buy the Tama Road pro stands for $79.99. The two stands are very comparable. The Tama doesn't have memory locks but it does have a toothless tilter, the tubing is the same size they are built very similar with plastic sleeves it the tubing to prevent noise and the adjustments are the same. I like these but I will stick to Tama Road pro stands for the price. Other than that these are great stands and won't disappoint.
