Compelling read.

A fast paced account of Alexander's successors, fighting to take over his empire, from each protagonists point of view. I think it is going to be a compelling series.

Political intrigue and battles with barbarians.

If you like your historical fiction based around Ancient Rome and her empire, you will enjoy this book. Believable characters and plenty of action loosely based on the life and times of Vespasian, this is a great read.
