Worth it.
This is my second one. The first one lasted many years with only the cutters and foil needing replacement. This was normal. That is why I bought the identical one. I figured if I was satisfied I need not change.

Excellent value for Indoor Portable Digital AM/FM/SW
1 of 3 found this helpful It took a few minutes to program, but once done it's a cinch to use. The only improvement I would suggest is that the Band Selection is adjustable both in the up and down choices. To go from AM to FM is easy, but to get back to AM requires you to go through all the S/W bands. Also, in the US, S/W is not useful. It could probably be eliminated. Sound is good, and the illuminated face works when you change a setting. This saves battery life. The best feature is that the volume control is digital. This is not usually found on an inexpensive radio.
