Good listening but with a glaring production error
A foot tapping selection of predominantly traditional Scottish dance tunes but the CD has one fault. Tracks 10 and 15 are identical. Both are titled 'Highland Schottische' but according to the insert have different tunes making up each piece and different playing times but in reality both are as track 15. Amazing that no-one noticed this in post production. The acoustic is somewhat boomy but not annoyingly so as I guess it was recorded in a hall rather than a recording studio. It is very much a 'live' recording with a fair degree of audience participation, mostly clapping, which does add some atmosphere but is a little excessive on track 1 'The Bluebell Polka'. I am enjoying listening to it all, even the repeated track. The CD took a day longer to arrive than the estimated delivery time.

Jussi on top form
Some wonderful tracks on this CD but unfortunately the famous Pearl Fishers duet is not included but I appreciate that is a duet and not just Jussi Björling. His rendition of Cantique de Noël is magnificent. Over 150 minutes of music and despite most of these recordings being elderly they still sound very good. Excellent value.

Wheely Good!
I bought this as a replacement for a steel wheel with a solid rubber tyre that was falling to bits. This yellow wheelbarrow wheel does the job. Not sure what the actual tyre is made of but it is quite heavy for its size but it fitted my barrow using the original spindle and retaining nuts. Being wider than the original wheel I had to make adjustments to the spacers on the spindle but that was not difficult. Fortunately the wheel comes with reducing plugs for the centre hole which I needed to make the barrow's spindle fit properly. Having used the revitalised barrow it is much better than before and this wheel gives a much better ride (so to speak). Very pleased with it.
