Works as expected
It's a mic boom so not much to say here other than it works as expected with my BM-800 microphone. I am not using the holder that came with it but it easily worked with the shock mount that came with my BM-800. The spring loading seems just right as it's easy to move and the spring is coated with paint that should prevent rust for a while in my tropical location.

Close to good but not quite there...
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a pretty cool remote but not perfect. I am coming from the Logitech Harmony Series and this is not like those It is more like a super easy to program and super compatible (because it's not just IR but also does Bluetooth) universal remote that supports Android TV. The "activity" functionality of the Harmony series is becoming less useful though as HDMI-CEC controls start working to solve this problem differently so I figured I'd give this remote a try and it is close to good but not great.
The issue is that for Bluetooth devices it often double sends commands and it also takes 3 seconds or so to "wake up" and start working for bluetooth after a button press. I'm using it with an Nvidia shield and it's just not perfectly controlling the device. It's ok but not great.
Other than that the programming process is awesome, the app worked great on my Samsung phone and I had no issues. I just wish they focused on how it actually controlled an Android TV device as much as they did the programming experience.

Upconverting DVD player with a bonus
This is a great buy if you want an upconverting DVD player. It sells for about the same price as a good upconverting 1080p model would but also can play the now obsolete HD-DVD's as a bonus. Since its designed to provide excellent output for HD-DVD's it has no problems with regular DVD's and upconversion makes them look great on my 47" 1080P Vizio set.
It also plays "backup" discs just fine. HD-DVD's can be had for great prices now so you can also show off the true capabilities of your TV with this model. Sound is great, all in all a great deal.
