fits well, has arrows indicating which direction to twist to install. You might want to draw an arrow on front with sharpie to ensure you know which way to twist when its time to replace.

Ok. Have had for 2 weeks. No cleaning needed yet. 1600 gal concrete pond with 15 goldfish and plants. Using 2100 GPH pump but only sending 1/2 of water to filter. Other similar filter have ways to clean filters without removal, this one doesn't and it takes time to attach a clean out hose to unit as you can't leave it connected to filter as controls for cleaning don't shut off clean out outlet entirely. I imagine I will have to open and clean f ilters out of filter housing and replace. For price I am entirely happy with present performance and improvement in water clarity. Still have string algae but clear water.....
