Doesn't fit!
2 of 2 found this helpful I have a Ridgid shop vac that takes filters for VF4000. This filter is supposed to fit vf4000 models. Doesn't fit. Lid won't close all the way. Seems like it's made well. The vf4000 model has a hole in the bottom of the filter and it is held in place with a plastic bolt. This filter doesn't have a hole in the bottom. It has a raised square box. The box pushes the bottom of the bucket and makes it impossible to close the lid properly. The lid is bent into a "c" shape and the seal is non existent. It looks nice. Seems sturdy. Doesn't fit.

Not Craftsman parts
The photo doesn’t match the item that they send you. An item, which comes in a blank bag with a MADE IN CHINA sticker on it, that doesn’t have the Craftsman logo on it like it does in the picture, doesn’t work correctly when installed on my Craftsman trimmer.
Replacement trimmer spools have the Craftman logo on them. I attached a photo of what they sent, verses what they show in the listing. Clearly a generic Chinese knock-off that doesn’t work.
I attached photos of the obvious difference. What they sent is on top and genuine Craftsman is on the bottom.
Theirs doesn’t work. I had to go to the store and buy a Craftsman branded replacement, and guess what it works now.

Way too big
Thin, cheap material. Oversized and the stitching is coming undone right out of the bag.
