Nice upgrade to outdated plastic handle.
Looks and works much better than the original plastic knob.
Was planning on upgrading the entire shower control, mostly for looks. But, the knob cracked and I found this replacement/upgrade. Looks great, although it does not cover as much of the center post as I had hoped (installed correctly, but the design makes it look as if it's protruding too far from the escutcheon.
Another benefit is that it is easier to "crank" this lever handle around from "Off" to "Hot" than it was with the original. ugly plastic "knob" handle (greater leverage).

Works as described, design could be better
While the adapter is well constructed an works as intended, the design could be better.
The SodaClub (predecessor of SodaStream) appliance has a valve body that is made of plastic and the original SodaClub tanks have brass fittings with about two and a half threads. This ThinkCrucial adapter also appears to be made of brass (or colored aluminum), but the fitting only has two threads. A full 24oz capacity tank can weigh close to 4lbs. It seems likely that 20% less contact area withing the plastic valve body will cause unnecessary, additional strain and increase the possibility of breakage, especially if the appliance is dropped or falls over.
No problems occurred with adjusting and installation; as described in other reviews. No appreciable difference in performance was perceptible between original tank and a 24oz paintball canister with the ThinkCrucial Adapter.
I would recommend this product. Great value. Good quality. Good functionality. Acceptable design.

Solved my stalling problem of 5 years - Finally!
Purchased for my JD F725 and it now runs better than ever.
For the past 5 years the mower would stall after 20-40mins of use and then would need to sit for 20-40mins before it would run again. I tried all the obvious solutions, but I didn't put serious effort into fixing it. I finally took it to the John Deere dealership last year and after 2 weeks and $150, they failed to cure the problem.
So, knowing I was on my own to fix it, I went through essentially anything that could be related to the problem, plus a plethora of other unrelated items. I found and fixed several issues I thought could have caused the stalling (replaced worn governor, replaced slow thermostat, adjusted and tweaked throttle and choke linkages, cleaned fuel tank, replaced all fuel lines and filter, etc etc..). I replaced every worn part except the fuel pump and carburetor, because they seemed to test and perform fine.
Then the fuel pump, which I still suspected as a cause but tested fine, started leaking. So that was replaced. Stalling still occurred. Therefore, since the carburetor was the very final suspect I decided to replace it. PROBLEM SOLVED.
I had ruled out the carburetor, since the engine started right up, idled smoothly and ran great at full power... until after 20-40 mins it would stall. I had cleaned and inspected the carburetor probably 5-10 times in the five years I had the problem. I now suspect that something was happening with the float. Either it had a hole and wouldn't float after taking in fuel or thermal expansion caused the need to stick... or something. I never verified the exact cause. Just glad to have my 20+ yr old machine back to 100%
