Oem.
What can I say. It looks original and exactly like the one I replaced it with.

Not for V-Rod
This tire lasted a little over six months on Florida roads. It was recommended as a long lasting tire. Compared to scorcher that lasted almost a year and a half. Other than that is very grippy and I always felt safe with it. Perhaps the Vrod is too heavy for it.

LED disappointing performance and reliability.
I have 20 industrial lamps I bought. Each with 3 50w LEDs. Out of the box the LEDs lasted about a year and started to burn out. I purchased represent LEDs from China distributors as US distributors sold 10x more expensive. As there is no apparent reason or warranty backing a US purchase I decided for the cheaper option. These LEDs lasted from a day to about 3 month. I installed using therma compound and the heats ink was cooled by a fan. Boy what a disappointment. So I decided to do some research. I was replacing metal halide lamps. So that was out of the question. Then I found this induction lamps. If my memory doesn't fail me they were invented or first used practically by tesla in 1903. No. Not the car company. The mad genius. This technology emits lumens per watt close to what an LED produces. It is not a hot lamp. The lamp is suppose to last 27 years (in theory) With some deterioration in the out put. The solid state electronic ballast is suppose to last much less. But I will be happy is it lasts 2-3 years. One thing I find I don't like is the apparent unavailability of hotter color lights. The one I can find is 5000k. It starts really neutral white but after a few days it get just a bit yellowish. But is not that bad. But I wish I could find them 6500k for my application. This retrofit kit is perfect for high bay and low bay kind or fixture. Well that all. If I remember in a couple of years I will comment on reliability. If they turn out to be crap like those LEDS I replaced I'm pretty sure I'm going to remember to put it in here.
