The best choice ๐
Although, this is still a "two piece" plug design, it is (in my experience) the best stock replacement plug, for the 3v modular engine. No misfire, or shortened life issues with these plugs. After 40k miles, even the old plugs, only had gaps out of tolorance. The gap, with these plugs, is non adjustable. Necessitating replacement.
Some people experience severely burned, or trashed ceramics, or engine damage. I would submit that regular maintenance, or close monitoring of engine performance/efficiency, will preclude these problems.
In summery; although the two piece plug was probably not one of Ford's best ideas, the SP514 is (imho) the best stock replacement, currently available. Exceptions being hotter coil spark, or forced induction applications, that would require smaller gaps, or cooler plugs.

Take care of a problem BEFORE it becomes a problem...
In a performance application, particularly with high pressure clutch sets, the stock fork is inevitably the weak link. That isn't the problem. The problem is the fact that the transmission has to come apart from the engine to replace it. If you're looking at this clutch fork, you KNOW what a fun job that is. In hindsight, I would have done this when I put the new engine and clutch in the car.
This fork is a 100% improvement on the stock part.. re-enforced in all the right places.
If you have to take the transmission off your engine, do yourself a favor: Install one of these. ;)

Only game in town..
If you're looking for a direct mount M-Lok conversion for a Harris bipod, this unit is pretty much the "only game in town". I purchased this because the stock mount on my Harris bipod was broken.
The machining, workmanship, and finish on this little $90 part, is outstanding. The only druther I had with it is that the mounting hole for the bipod, was .060 too small. It was easier, and quicker for me to turn down the bipod mount shaft to fit, than send the mount to the manufacturer. So, that is what I did.
Every other part I've ever gotten from GG&G has been exemplary. And, I highly recommend their products.
