Google Wifi has been great for me.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the “older” version of Google Wifi. I have had 1 router in my home for about 1.5 years, and recently added a second to reach a few more rooms. It is easy to set up, handles a lot of devices online well, and offers some really great controls (including parental controls) on a user-friendly interface. The one draw back is that I don’t love that the router needs to stay “logged in” to my Google account to be used. But the great functionality of this as a router and a mesh system outweighs that for me. I would recommend to anyone getting started with their own router and network setup for the first time, as well as more advanced users. I personally see no reason to pay more for the new “Nest” branded version from Google at this time, these 1st gen pucks are really great.
