Good bang for the buck
3 of 4 found this helpful Wanted a armrest for old classic Chevy. The classic car websites wanted $125.00 for a similar armrest..
With the help of special vinyl color spray, I changed the color from dark/gray to a vibrant red for a perfect
match to car interior. Looks good.......only criticism is the cup holder adjustment.......it doesn't work
the tension spring is so strong - the plastic teeth can't work properly. Quality is OK.....I like the storage
space, and, of course - something to rest my arm.

Replacement Escutcheon
What impressed me about this Escutcheon was that it was made of "metal"....... I shopped locally at Menards, Home Depot, & Lowes - all made of plastic. Why is that important ? Because as the valve
becomes harder to turn on & off ( pushing on & off) as it ages from build-up of scum, hard water etc....the
plastic type will crack.....sooooo metal is better. The only downside is that it's chrome, and I'll have to paint it brass color to match.
