Upgrade to Mac Mini M2 and OS-14
My 2015 iMac is maxed out at OS-12. When I downloaded my tax software for 2023, I was told that I would need to upgrade to at least OS-13 next year . . .hmm . . . time to upgrade the hardware, so I can upgrade the software.
The Mac Mini was a good choice. Fast, has the new M2 CPU, is running on OS-14, and should be good to go for some years to come.
I bought the matched set so as to avoid having to choose all of the necessary components that make up a complete set. Just had to put it together and turn it on. I can now upgrade individual components over time, if I choose to do so.
