Good, but not bad or best - Average

BAD: Bulky design, 9 cell battery made laptop sit too high, slow for an Intel design processor, graphics could use some improving
OVERALL: For the price I paid, it was a good notebook. But if I had bought one from Dell at their prices, I would have been disappointed. I have been a PC person all of my life, but I sold this unit and blew a bundle and bought a 17" MacBook Pro, then loaded Windows 7 on it. PC Makers should rethink their machines and look at what Apple is doing. I still like Windows better, but the quality of the Mac is unsurpassed.

These are ALWAYS worth the extra Bucks!
I have been using K&N air filters for many years. As soon as I buy a new (or used) car, the first thing I do is order the K&N air filter. I will compare the gas mileage before I install it, and then after. I usually see a 2-3 MPG boost on the next tank of gas. I also notice a little more 'oomph' and power when I drive. I have a 2015 Camaro V6 and a 2015 Cadillac ATS 2.5 4-cylinder, and they both did markedly better once the K&N was installed. I know they are a little pricey, but the benefits far exceed that cost.

Burn your valuable Data on a Blu-Ray
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this for my new 17" notebook, to replace the standard DVD-RW drive. Works great. Plays Blu-Ray movies with superb clarity and sound. I have only burned one Blu-Ray-R disc (back up some pics and other personal items) and it worked faster than I thought and did a great job during the 'verification' process, using Nero software.
Most of the newer notebook 'rom doors' will fit this drive, so easy exchange. Be careful of the plastic tabs on the front carrier cover as they can break if you don't ease them out slowly. Should work with most of the newer notebooks on the market, regardless of size and processor power. A great buy.
