Perfect light surf rod holder
I carry a couple of these every time I fish the surf. Plop them in the sand next to your bucket and you have a solid base to stage your rods while you rig your tackle. Sink them close to the waves, chuck your bait rod, and drop it in the holder, that's it. Nice orange color that stands out during the day/night. However, I wouldn't trust them for rods longer than 9', if a hawg spools you while you're asleep or plugging down the beach, bye bye rod. Also, I wish the holder/spade pin was stainless, I'm starting to see some corrosion there. But for $7, great portable and lightweight holders, much easier than dragging sand spikes around.

Works as described
Cuts down on the wind and ambient noise, esp any subtle noises from your lavalier mic moving around on your clothing. Great buy!

great quality, warm and breathable, but fingers are a bit too long
bought these for winter surf fishing and general work around the house on cold days. i'm a true men's medium and the mediums fit well, except the fingers are a tad long. i can bunch the fabric down but the waterproofing/breathable layers are pretty set in their form, so they'll eventually extend and leave slack in my fingertips and decrease dexterity. if you read reviews elsewhere online, you'll see this is a common complaint. if they shortened each fingertip by half a cm, they'd fit perfect. also be aware the waterproof seem runs around the edge of the glove, and the seem runs across your fingertips which can impede touch sensitivity for more delicate work/applications. otherwise, great gloves so far, absolutely no leaks, just breathable enough to stay comfortable if the sun comes out and heats things up. the grip material on the palm side really helps and seems to be wearing well. recommended as a more durable option vs sealskinz.
