Useful little mic
I bought this mic on a whim, because it looks like the RODE Videomic but much less expensive, to use with my Android phone or minidisc recorder. And... it's pretty decent! I like that it came with 2 cords and a useable fuzzy wind shield. Only negative is the "shock mount"; it happily transmits every rub and bump to the mic.

Handy little mixer(s), but a bit below today's pro standards.
This auction was for two broken mixers (FP32, FP32A) sold as-is *for repair*, so expectations were low.
Each mixer had one bad input channel, which turned out to be a blown input transformer in each case. I had some transformers from a different SHURE mixer that I stuck in, and they seem to work fine, give or take a few db of gain in those channels. There was also a scratchy pot or two that I tried to clean as best I could.
So, I now have two working mixers and here's my review of them:
FP32... works but as many users mention, it's now just too noisy for most professional applications
FPP32A... less noise. Useable in many situations, especially ENG or indie film. Still probably too noisy for more demanding work like features, commercials, nature recording.
Both models have many features that make them handy in most situations - line-up oscillator, flexible monitoring, low-cut filters, master limiter, slate tone and mic. Recommended as a first location mixer for indie, student, hobby use. When you need something better, rent.
