Genuine Item
Genuine Heko wind deflectors, quality item. Yes you need patience to fit them as they are tight, if they wasn't they would drop out.
They do exactly what I want them to do

All Alum blocks are the same? WRONG
3 of 3 found this helpful People often say that all Alum blocks are the same, they are not. Cheaper blocks are composed by powder which is then compressed into a block. These work but will wear out quicker and from experience don't have the same strength as the higher quality ones do.
This Alum block is of higher quality, rather then powder it is a solid piece, which is then cut to form the block.
This is the real deal, and does exactly what it is intended to do. Caution, it does sting but it is suppose too. This is the main sign it is working, used to close the pours, stop weaps and show where shaving needs a little work. I also use it on my fingertips to grip my skin and straight razors that might be wet. I have found the powder pressed versions do not get the grip no matter how much I rub down on the block.
There are a few on here cut from a solid crystal like this are, but this by far are of the cheapest for quality I have seen, the cheaper powder pressed ones do work but for an extra quid or two, I would stay clear, this one will last longer (even though smaller) and will have a bigger impact on the skin.
Comparison photo attached to difference in this type ( crystal cut) and powder pressed.

Excellent bit of kit
Not had a long time to check out all its features as it only came today but for the price is a really nice piece of kit.
Tried a few DC voltages and AC outlets and seems really accurate within its tolerances. Also the temperature sensor is a nice little feature, which more expensive meters don't have.
