So I have been running kicker comp 12s, well since y2k Put these in cause my first 10 inch sub I owned was a mtx and it hit hard so figured I would give them a shot. Dang good sound. When I first hooked up to my audiofonics 1100 watt she sounded great till it went to hit hard then it dropped into protection. Mind you I literally just took the kickers out and hooked these up. So I immediately knew it was a wireimg issue. Opened the box and they were wired 4ohm. So tomorrow I'm gonna rewire to the 2ohm set up and stuff the box a little to get rid of the holo box hit. Then I have no doubt these will destroy. Thanks for the deal and keeping MTX consistent all these years.
