A Jazz Beginner's Bread and Butter
I've played very little out of the Omni book before I bought it. People whom I have high respect for, in regards to their jazz playing, always told me I need to own my own copy to improve my jazz skills. Now that I have my own I see it's so true. You can't really learn that much just by borrowing it for a couple days (unless you're a h3ll of a sight reader).
You just learn so much about style and phrasing from this, especially if you have some of Charlie Parker's cd's or mp3s to go with the songs. I know some people really aren't into Charlie Parker, because I'm personally not his biggest fan. I'm more of a Cannonball Adderley player. However, he doesn't have a book. *I wish he did...someone should get on that* Still though, it's a great learning tool. It will definitely improve your fingering technique, because some of those songs (like KoKo) just fly. When you get them up to tempo, your fingers just float over the keys. So I definitely reccomend this to any jazz player. Sax players or not.

For the 90's Kids
This is for the millennials who refuse to let go of the past. It's a solid DVD to add to the collection, for those still collecting DVDs & VHS tapes. It's safe to call this one a sing-along movie for adults. The widescreen format works on almost every modern tv. Don't expect to be enticed by 4k definition and high quality sound by a DVD from the 90s. You're buying this for nostalgia! If you find yourself having a 90s themed party, throw this on in the background!

I saw the Pilot & I was hooked.
For all who love dry British comedy, I definitely recommend this hilariously laugh out loud series. Personally I liked seasons 1 & 2 the best. The writing got a bit weird in seasons 3 & 4 but there were still some episodes that had me rolling. The Internet Is Coming is also an awesome addition if you can pick it up. With work and school, I was able to binge watch this in about 2 weeks
