Stain new softwood to look like old pine

I found this product purely by chance as I was looking for the usual wood stain/varnish. I am adding some new wood to an existing wooden window frame plus about 6" of dado rail where there had previously been a gap. The original wood is pine around 100 years old. The pitch pine dye was easy to mix and I used several test runs on scrap wood. The end result is pretty good for an amateur DIY-er and I am well satisfied.

DK Budapest Mini

A very useful and compact mini guide. Handy in a side pocket or travel bag as it does not take up much room. The maps are good if your eyesight is not impaired as the writing is small. Overall, a good book to have once you have done your research back at home on the internet or larger guide books etc and transferred that into a smaller compact personal wish list of places and things to do. Also come in handy with any budget airlines and the cabin bag limitations.
